The Atlanta Tipoff Club was founded during 1956-57 as a way for Atlantans to share in a common bond --- the love and enjoyment of basketball. Probably no similar group has done more to honor the contributions of player, coaches, officials and fans that make basketball what is is today.
The Atlanta Tipoff Club has a two-fold responsibility --- to promote continued support for the game of basketball and to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of those who make the game so exciting.
As a result of the dedication, hard work and creativity of our past leadership, the Atlanta Tipoff Club has experienced extensive growth since 1956.
The Club looks forward to continue building a dynamic organization that provides recognition on the local, state and national levels. The Club is made up of various boards and supported by a strong membership network and backed by pivotal community business and institutions.
